Last week I decided I wanted to learn to needle felt, so this week I did. Holy crap, I love it! It is so fun and such a stress relief (for those of you who don’t know…it involves taking a needle and stabbing felt over and over). I don’t know how nerdy it makes me sound to say needle felting is fun, but I don’t care. Anyways, I decided to make a few Christmas Tree Ornaments. I love these because they can be used around the house year round, too! I can’t wait to buy more felt and make some more.
My first one was this brown owl:
And then I went crazy…
Embroidery may have some competition on it’s hands…I may be developing a new favorite.
All of these pieces are for sale on Etsy for six bucks! I also added four other pieces to the shop, so if you like what you see be sure to check it out!
ps! I got these fabrics in the mail today from Sew Mama Sew, aren’t they pretty?!
OMG, the little mushroom ornament is adorable!!!
Thanks so much, Megan! That was one of my favorites 🙂
I LOVE the mushroom!!!!!!
🙂 Thanks sis!
The little owl is The Cutest! I support your new obsession fully.
I’m obsessed with the turtle fabric. I ❤ turtles.
Isn’t it so cute?! I’m trying to decide what I can do with it. I made a little embroidery of a snail on it (there are smaller snails patterned on it), but that looked dumb. I’m thinking just a pillow or something.
