Where the Wild Things Are Embroideries

Confession: I finished these about a month ago, and have put off sharing them until now. I’ve been busy though—I started a new job! Anyways…

The two embroideries I’m sharing today are from the beloved children’s book, Where the Wild Things Are. I had been wanting to embroider something or another inspired by the book forever, and I finally decided to just do it.

IMG_1193The first one states “let the wild rumpus start!” along with Max’s famous crown.

The hoop of this one is painted black, and it is 4″.

The second piece states “and the walls became the world all around” also with Max’s crown.

These pieces are up for sale in the shop (1 & 2), and you can see more photos of them there!
