Embroidered Goodness: My Guitar by Shel Silverstein

Shel Silverstein week is coming to a close, I only have a couple more pieces to share. Today I am sharing a piece from A Light in the Attic, from the poem “My Guitar.”

…as someone who would like to know how to play the guitar, but whines every time my fingers start to hurt…this sounds perfect.

xoxo.

  1. awesome tribute to one of my favorite poems and illustrations.

  2. ahhhhhh, so nostalgic! I’ve been looking at all your Shel Silverstein projects this week. Love it! My favorite one used to be “Sick.” I could probably still recite it if I tried. 😉
