Embroidered Goodness: The Worst by Shel Silverstein

Shel Silverstein week continues! Today’s post is from the poem “The Worst” which is in Where the Sidewalk Ends. I never paid much attention to the poem going along with this illustration growing up, but I always thought that the illustration itself was pretty funny.
The actual illustration has little hairs on his shoulders and his ears, but I did not get that far so he is hairless.

xoxo.

  1. I love Shel Silverstein. I must have read his books a dozen times. My brother and a friend of his actually made a handful of the poems into songs. You can download them here: http://ingismaxandjohn.com/music/youcan.html
