The Time We Pretended We Were Rich

First of all, I’m back! It was a weird week, but a necessary time to take a break.

Saturday was Bryan’s 24th Birthday. We stayed at the JW Marriott downtown, which is only two miles or so from our apartment, but it really did feel like a getaway. We ate dinner at the restaurant inside, Six.One.Six, and filled our stomachs with lobster, rabbit (sorry!), wine, and port.

So yummy!  I made the mistake of trying to light the candles with the balloons close by…they didn’t last long.  Remember when I posted about the handmade soap from Soapopotamus? I got Bryan two pieces of the “toast.”
