Through the wonderful world of Pinterest I found a million Mason Jar Pincushions. They’re so cute! Needless to say, I made my own. Want to make one, too? Here is how:
- Mason Jar
- Hot Glue Gun
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Stuffing
- Felt
- Fabric
Once you’ve got all of that ready, here is what ya do:
Take the mason jar apart.
Trace the inner lid onto a piece of felt. This will be the backing on the inside of the lid.
Cut the backing out.
Cut out a square piece of fabric, how big you cut it depends on how big your mason jar is. I cut mine at about 5x5in.
Bring all of the edges in and hot glue it together.
Hot glue your felt backing to it, this will hide your mess.
Stick your stuffed piece into the rim of the lid.
Screw it on and you’d got a quick and easy pincushion!

I’ve been needing a pincushion, but in other news, I saw this today and thought of you: http://cdn.babble.com/the-new-home-ec/files/2011/08/heading-pic.jpg
Those are so cute!! I wish I had more wall space so i could do something similar.
